Students and coordinators from Federal Institutes met on Thursday afternoon (November 13th) at the stand of the Association of Amazonian Universities (Unamaz), during COP30, to participate in a scientific exhibition promoted by the Ministry of Education (MEC). The program highlighted robotics, technology, and innovative solutions initiatives developed in four states of the Northern Region.
In total, 12 projects were presented, all focused on solving social problems exacerbated by climate change—such as the lack of basic sanitation in isolated areas and the housing conditions of riverside communities. The proposals stood out for their focus on sustainability and the creative use of natural resources as a basis for new technologies.
By providing space for this activity, UNAMAZ reaffirms its role as a link between educational institutions and scientific and environmental education initiatives. This action strengthens the development of regional knowledge and contributes to building more sustainable pathways for the future of the Amazon.
